Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here 50

On December 12, Sony Music Entertainment will release the 50th Anniversary Edition of Wish You Were Here, celebrating one of the band’s most enduring albums.

This expanded reissue includes:

• 3xLP + 2xCD editions with alternate mixes and demos

• A deluxe box set with a fourth LP of live material from Wembley Stadium

• A Blu-ray featuring three concert films from the 1975 tour and a short film by Storm Thorgerson

Reflecting on the album’s cover, Aubrey “Po” Powell of Hipgnosis recalled:

“In the 1970s, album covers were equally as important as the music. I remember turning around to Storm and saying, ‘How are we going to set a man on fire?’ He said, ‘Po, you’re just going to have to do it for real.’”
